2. MASTERS MODULE:-

• Publication Group Master

There are many Publication Groups, & each Group has its many Publications. Therefore every Publication has its Group defined, for e.g.. Times of India, Navbharat Times, Maharashtra Times, Education Times, Bombay Times etc. are the publications of the Times Group. Publication Group Master module, allows you to enter all the Publication Groups, you have to enter the necessary details required to fill up, in this module. The data filled in this module is general information of the Publishers, such as address, city, state, country, contact name, telephone number, mobile number, e-mail id etc.
Also some of the required data filled in this module is Cheque in favor of, Agencies Commissions, Opening balance.

You have to define the "Agencies Commissions" provided by each of the "Publication Group" in this module. Also each "Publication Groups" defines, the word/line, or square cm/column cm, in advertisement categories is to be entered in this module.

The data you fill in this module are the further required details, for the record purposes, for verification purposes, at the time of release order, at the time of generating the bills, for generating reports etc.

• Publication Master

In Publication Master module, all the fields entered in the "Publication Details" category will be stored & viewed in "Publication View" category, in one alignment. The software provides you assorting of these publications wherein you can view at a time all the publications i.e. to which group it belongs to, the code, & the language selected.
This module also helps you to view the record as per required, also edit or delete if required.

In "Publication Details" category you have to enter, The Name of the Publication: Every Publication has a group defined, most of the publishers have many publications in its defined group, thereby you have to enter the Publication Group, Publication Name, Publication Code, Publication language. The data you fill in this module are the required details for further process purpose, for the record purposes & for verification purposes, at the time of release order, also at the time of generating the bills & for generating reports etc.

• Category Master

  In "Category Master" module, all the fields entered in the "Category Details" section will be stored & viewed in "Category View" section, in one alignment. The software provides you assorting of these categories wherein you can view, at a time. You can also view, all the sub-categories to which group it belongs to, & the code in the "Category View". This module also helps you to view the record as per required, also edit or delete if required.

Every Publications have three categories of inserting the advertisements in the newspaper: Classified, Display & Classified Display. In this module you have to mention the Type of Advertisement, Category Name, & Category Code.

• Edition Master

In "Edition Master" module, all the fields entered in the "Edition Details" category will be stored & viewed in "Edition View" category, in one alignment. The software provides you assorting of these editions wherein you can view, at a time, all the editions to which State it belongs to, in the "Edition View".
This module also helps you to view the record as per required, also edit or delete if required.

Editions have to be mentioned for each Publication as per requirement of the client. In this module you can add the State Name, Edition & Edition Code.

• Position Master

In "Position Master" module, all the fields entered in the "Position Details" category will be stored & viewed in "Position View" category, in one alignment. The software provides you assorting of these position wherein you can view, at a time, all the Position & its Code, in the "Position View"

Positions are required to be mentioned in the newspapers, this module provides you to enter the position of the ad in its categories, e.g. first page, third page, back page, entertainment page, sports page, bold, tick mark.

• Publication Edition Relation Master

In this module, all the fields entered in the "Publication Edition Relation Details" category will be stored & viewed in "Publication Edition "Relation View" category, in one alignment. The software provides you assorting of these Publication Edition, wherein you can view, at a time, all the Publication Edition, in the "Publication Edition Relation View".

Publication Edition Relation" is the relation between Publications in the selected Editions, with the Language required. i.e. Each Publications is to be released in selected multiple Editions, e.g. Times of India (publication) is to be released in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Poona (editions) etc. In this module, it will be saved as, T. O. I + M + A + P (i.e. Times of India + Mumbai+ Ahmedabad+ Poona).

The software is customized in the way that it is not necessary to enter the "Publication Groups", you have enter direct individual "Publication" as per required. E.g. only Times of India, Mumbai Samachar, Navbharat, Indian Express, Midday etc. There is no need to enter Publication Groups i.e. Times Group, Express Group, Midday Group, Yashobhomi Group etc.

• State/Language Master

In this module you can add the Name of the State, in the "State" category & the Language, in the "Language" category required.

• Rate card Master
  

In "Rate Card", all the rates are mentioned for the advertisement agency in the categories i.e. Classified, Classified Display, Display, Position & Other charges.
Rate Card is well customized to get all the schemes & packages on your fingertips.
For the Advertisement agencies, Rate Card plays as a multipurpose role, as it consist of all the types of schemes & packages.

Publication Groups has many publications of its own & each publication has "Publication" & "Edition" relation. Also Relations to, the Publication, with the Type of Ad, with the Category of the Ad, with Position & with Other Charges, therefore this module is well customized for the same.

It helps you to enter the clients various entries, to all the fields, under one module. All the entries saved here are the necessary fields, which will be helpful in the further process, especially at the time of Release Order (R.O). Also you can view, edit or delete all the "Rates" applied to these fields, as & when you require, which you have stored in. This module helps you, as it does not require to enter the minute details each of the time once stored, it can display various requirements of the client, for once entered.

The software benefits you in the following features mentioned below,

• Publication Edition Relation means, under one Publication there can be multiple Editions defined.
  E.g.: Times Of India (publication ):+Delhi +Ahmedabad+ Mumbai etc (edition). This module benefits you, as you don't have to each time reenter, for all the editions for one Publications as mentioned in the example
  

• Each and every Publication Groups have different "Rates" & "Schemes" for all the three categories of advertisements. E.g. Times Group, Express Group, Yashobhomi Group, Janmabhomi Group etc., each of them has different rates for Classified, Classified Display, Display. This module benefits you, as you can enter the "Rates" of all the fields & the "Schemes", required for the clients, in the various categories under one module. All the fields will store the rates entered in the different fields & will display in assorted manner, under this module, for each Publications. The rates defined here are displayed & are beneficial further at the time of Release Order, because when you select the "Group" & its "Editions" the predefined rates will be displayed, when you select the "Category" the predefine "Schemes" will be displayed, according to each Publications selected.
  

• Each Publication Groups have different "Schemes" available in various categories like Classified, Classified Display, Display, Position & Other charges. In Rate card for the ad agencies the "Category" & "Schemes" play the important roles. As in each "Category" you have to define its "Schemes" available from all the Publications Groups, also the "Schemes" differ with relation to the Editions.


• E.g. The "Scheme" for "Classified Category", is10 paid entries & 3 free with it, from Times Group, & from Express Group it may differ as 12 paid entries & 3 free with it.
  
  
• The same "Scheme" may differ for the different "Editions" for e.g.. The "Scheme" for "Classified Category", is10 paid entries & 3 free with it, from Times Group, then it will differ as 6 paid entries & 3 free with multiple editions of Mumbai, Delhi & Ahmedabad & from Express Group the scheme is 12 paid entries & 3 free with it, it may differ as 8 paid entries & 3 free with multiple editions of Mumbai, Delhi & Ahmedabad.

This module benefits you, as you can store all the "Schemes" as per its publications, under one module. Also it benefits you in re-entering all the entries each of the time as per the schemes selected.

• E.g. the scheme is for "Classified Display" 1 insertion of ad - 1 free entry, for 2 insertions of ad- 1 free entry & for 3 insertion of ad - 1 free entry. The software provides you with a range arrangement as "Insertion From"," Insertion To" & "Free entry" from the example mentioned, like for all the 3 insertions you will not have to enter 3 times, as you can enter once, in the fields provided. The software provides you with range arrangement of the schemes, facility as field wise, in this module, so that it benefits you in reentering all the entries each of the time with the free entry field also available & will display the scheme as per defined. All the schemes predefined will be useful at the time of entering the clients data, you will just have to select the category & fill in the clients required scheme etc.
  


• The Rate Card is customized as Classified, Classified Display, Display, Position & Other charges. Each Categories have various "Fields", also these fields "Rates" differ with every 'Publication Groups". You have to select the "Publication Edition" which you have predefined in the previous modules, you can store data & enter the rates applied according to each Publication Groups.
  Each Category have various Fields to be filled as follows:
  
  
• Classified: .You have to enter the fields in the Category Name, Insertions, Free days, Rate, Extra Rate, Validity Period, Minimum Word/Line, Maximum Word/Line, Heading Charges, Multiple, Multiple Extra rate, Negotiated Rate, Eye Catcher etc.


• Classified Display: In this category, you have to enter the fields in the Category Name, Insertions, Free days, B/W amount, Colour amount, Validity Period, B/W Multiple, Colour Multiple, Negotiated Rate etc.


• Display: In this category, you have to enter the fields in the Category Name, Insertions, Free days, B/W amount, Colour amount, Validity Period, B/W Multiple, Colour Multiple, Negotiated Rate etc.


• Position: In this category, you have to enter the fields in Position Name, Classified Basic Rate, Classified Extra Rate, Display Classified Basic Rate, Display Classified Extra Rate, Display Basic Rate, Display Extra Rate etc.


• Other charges: In this category, you have to enter the fields in Eye Catcher, Tick Mark etc.

• Client Master
  

  All the fields entered in the "Client's Details" category will be stored & viewed in "Client View" category, in one alignment. The software provides you assorting of the "Client's Details", wherein you can view, at a time, all the Client's Details, in the "Clients View" category.
  
  "Client's Details" category is a database module where you can keep your Client's information like company name, their codes no, address and all the necessary details needed in this form. All the client's information will get stored in this module, information about Client's tax numbers can also be entered here. You can enter the "Commission" charges provided to the client, as per the selected advertisement.

  • You can enter all the contact details about each Client, which will be utilized while creating reports.
    
    
  • The concern person name and his contact details will help you to easily stay in touch.
    
    
  • To enter the code is become necessary, because it not only helps to refer the record, code no. wise, but also helps in the "Bar-code" machines which refers with the bar-code system.
    
    
  • It is some times necessary to mention Client's tax numbers like his Central Sales Tax Number, Service tax number, Bombay Sales Tax Number etc. Once you have entered those details with the Client's name, you can print those values in legal reports.
    

  Basically discounts are offered to the clients, by the advertisement agencies, according to the "Publication Group" selected. All the discounts offered, are predefined by each Publication Group, to each advertisement agencies. In "Client's Commission" category you can enter discount offered by you to the client, in all the three categories of advertisement. As soon as you enter the Publications Name, the Discount offered by you will be displayed in each of the selected category , also will be helpful to you at the time of "Release Order".
